Summer Camp Anyone?

Castle Rock Star
As you start thinking about plans for this summer, consider sending your child to a camp where they will not only have fun, but they'll hear about Jesus Christ.  Lutheran Valley Retreat (LVR) is a
summer youth camp and year-around retreat center (est. 1959) located on 240 acres at an elevation of 8400' in the middle of Pike National Forest. LVR offers opportunities for children, youth, and families to experience Jesus Christ. LVR is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from ColoradoSprings, and a 21/2 hour drive from Denver. LVR's mission is to provide experiential opportunities in an outdoor environment for children, youth, families, and their advocates to know and share Jesus Christ with ALL people. LVR welcomes churched and unchurched, Lutherans and non-Lutherans. Our goal is for all who come here to begin and continue a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to strengthen them so that they share Jesus with all people. We also encourage respect of God's creation, others, and self. LVR is for everyone, without regard to race, religion, or handicap.

We Need Your Help!
 boyeating foodSnacks Needed!
We attend church to receive spiritual nourishment through God's Word.  After the service, we enjoy fellowship and the nourishment of our sweet tooth with snacks!  Snack sign up has been light.  We are in need of volunteers to bring snacks.  Sign up and share a favorite recipe and a smile.  If you can't find time in your busy schedule to bake, pick up your favorite snack at King Soopers with your "Scrip" card!  If you can't stay afterwards to serve, we can always find someone willing to meet this need.  Use your talents and joyfully serve the Lord!

Epiphany Family:

The pictures this week are from Stan and Marcy Pore's 50th wedding anniversary celebration last Sunday. Wow!  50 years!  How wonderful!

Thanks to Stan and Marcy for inviting the entire congregation to such a scrumptious spread and Loving Fellowship!  You are a wonderful gift to us from God.
LWML Scrip Program
Scrips are more than just coupons...they support numerous projects at Epiphany...
Scrip Program

Since Oct of 2004, the LWML has been blessed to be able to contribute about $9,800 to various outreach programs and needs within the congregation.  These funds have all come from the sale of scrip and King Soopers certificates.  They would like to be able to continue to support projects as they are made known to them.  Without congregational support of the scrip and KS certificate programs this will not be possible.  Please remember to buy and use KS certificates and scrip.
